Title
Registered Nurse - Cardiac Step-Down

Schedule
Nights (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
36 hours per week
Typically works every 3rd weekend and 1 holiday

Assignment Details
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements
- Minimum three (3) years of cardiac step-down experience
- Experience with heart cath recovery, cardiac drips, and post-op open-heart patients
- Experience with Epic EMR
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be comfortable providing care to ventilated patients if needed

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to cardiac step-down patients.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing care plans as necessary.
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.
- Float to other units as necessary depending on staffing and patient volume.
- Participate in the education of patients and families regarding care processes and conditions.

Compliance / Notes
- All Requested Time Off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission.
- Facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract.
