Industrial Automation TechnicianFriday-Sunday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm Pay Range: $32 - $53 (based on experience)The essential functions of the maintenance technician are to act as a representative of Trew by providing excellent customer service through execution and completion of reactive and scheduled maintenance tasks assigned by the service manager or other supervisors. The individual in this role must have a hands-on, and 'can do' attitude.Duties/ResponsibilitiesFollow all company safety plansProvide superior Customer ExperienceOperational Support of Material Handling Equipment (MHE)Mechanical Corrective – and Preventive Maintenance of MHEElectrical Corrective – and Preventive Maintenance of MHECreation, updating and completion of work ordersAdvise supervisor to potential hazards (safety and operational)Test and maintain electrical equipment using hand and power toolsDiagnose malfunctioning systems and its components, to locate problem and make necessary repairsInspect electrical systems and their connections to identify hazardsRequired Skills/AbilitiesHigh attention to detail and exceptionally well organizedMust be effective in use of software programs such as MS Office, CMMS, etc.Ability to complete work in a timely, accurate and thorough manner and to be conscientious about assignmentsEffective verbal and written communication skills with leadership, colleagues, and individuals inside and outside of TrewAbility to exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others and works to maintain constructive working relationshipsAbility to prioritize to meet customer expectationsThorough knowledge of parts inventory location and its useEducation & ExperiencesExperience testing and maintaining electrical equipment using hand and power toolsExperience diagnosing malfunctioning systems to locate problems and make repairsExperience inspecting electrical systems and their connections to identify hazardsWork EnvironmentThe work environment includes exposure to manufacturing machinery and potentially noisy conditions.The temperature inside a warehouse can vary.Some warehouses are climate-controlled, while others may not be.Must be available when needed for emergency calls and periodic overtimeDay shiftPhysical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is required to talk and listen. The employee will frequently lift on average 25-50lbs throughout the course of a business day.
