Work Environment

This position is mainly an onsite role where the Physical Therapist will work in various home settings, directly engaging with patients in their environments. You will collaborate closely with clients and their families, as well as interdisciplinary teams, to create a supportive network for recovery. The full-time schedule demands commitment from Monday to Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life integration while ensuring consistent patient care and follow-up.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from injury, disease, or surgery, ensuring a detailed understanding of their conditions and limitations.
• Develop and implement effective treatment plans utilizing a variety of methods, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and assistive devices to alleviate pain and enhance patient mobility.
• Continuously monitor and document each patient's treatment progress, adjusting therapeutic goals and strategies as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Provide education to patients, caregivers, and family members on the use of assistive devices and physical therapy techniques to encourage effective self-management.
• Engage in professional development by attending workshops, reviewing literature, and participating in continuing education opportunities to maintain and enhance clinical knowledge and skills.
• Advocate for patient needs within the interdisciplinary healthcare team, presenting insights that will help coordinate comprehensive care plans.

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse range of patients, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain issues. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Valid state licensure in Physical Therapy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.
• Adept in utilizing evidence-based practice to ensure the highest quality of care.
• Demonstrated flexibility and agility in adapting treatment approaches based on evolving patient needs.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in physical therapy is required, particularly in home care settings.
• Experience with geriatric and post-operative patients is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
