What you'll do
- Patient Care: Develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring progress towards functional goals with safe, effective strategies.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation, reflecting patient progress.
- Care Coordination: Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to maximize patient outcomes and involve families in care plans.
- Caseload Management: Proactively manage caseloads to meet patient needs, with flexibility required for department needs.
- Communication and Compliance: Maintain effective communication and adhere to regulatory standards.
- BS, MS, or Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
- Licensed Physical Therapist or license eligible in the State of Oregon.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
- Clinical experience in similar practice setting is strongly preferred.
- Three or more years of physical therapy experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
- Broad clinical background with diverse patient populations strongly preferred.
- Be a team player and have proven success applying team approach to obtain resolution to an issue.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, problem solving, decision making and organizational skills for working with the rehabilitation team and patients.
- Demonstrated competency by implementing age, culturally sensitive, and developmentally appropriate treatment plans and by appropriate documentation.
