Senior Cost Accountant

Join a large, privately held global manufacturer backed by both family ownership and private equity. This role offers strong growth potential within a well-established finance team. Base pay range $75,000.00/yr - $95,000.00/yr What You’ll Do Lead daily cost accounting activities and support month-end close Maintain standard cost and inventory systems Analyze product costs, labor, yield, scrap, and line performance Support pricing updates, budgeting, and capital project reviews Partner with operations on cost-saving initiatives and performance improvements Prepare journal entries and reconcile GL/overhead accounts What You Bring Bachelor’s in Accounting or Cost Accounting Manufacturing industry experience required 2–4+ years of cost accounting experience (open to 5–7 years) Strong GAAP, cost, budgeting, pricing, and inventory knowledge Advanced Excel; AS400, BI tools, and D365 preferred Confident communicator who can drive follow-through in a fast-paced environment Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Accounting/Auditing Industries Food and Beverage Services Benefits Medical insurance Vision insurance 401(k) Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at The Intersect Group by 2x Get notified about new Cost Accountant jobs in Atlanta Metropolitan Area . #J-18808-Ljbffr The Intersect Group
