In this school-based role, you’ll make a meaningful impact on young learners by helping them build foundational skills that set the stage for lifelong success. This assignment runs from as soon as possible through November 1, providing the chance to work closely with early childhood students and collaborate with a supportive educational team.

Desired Qualifications:

• Active state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT)
• Experience with school-based therapy, especially with preschool-aged children, is highly preferred
• Understanding of pediatric OT treatment strategies and familiarity with IEP processes
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to partner with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
• Flexibility, adaptability, and a passion for fostering growth in young children

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapy services to preschool students based on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Assess students’ motor, sensory, and functional abilities to develop customized treatment plans
• Document progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in team meetings with educators and caregivers
• Offer recommendations for classroom adaptations and collaborate on strategies to promote participation and independence
• Advocate for students’ needs and help drive positive outcomes in the school environment
