Job Title: Finance and Accounting Specialist
Pay: $24/hour
Location: Cape Coral, FL
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

We are seeking an experienced Finance and Accounting Specialist to manage a variety of accounting and financial operations for a growing company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and payroll processing
• Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records
• Maintain organized accounting files and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting
• Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner
• Generate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances
• Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual tax filings
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
• Assist in implementing financial systems and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
• Stay current on accounting regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
• Previous experience in full charge bookkeeping or accounting required, preferably within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively
• Strong communication, interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of payroll processing and tax regulations is a plus
