Finance Manager Full Time | Roseland, NJ, US Salary Range: $120,000.00 to $145,000.00 annually Purpose of Role Mandelbaum Barrett PC is seeking a Finance Manager to support the CFO and handle the day-to-day execution of the finance function, including reporting, budgeting, and ensuring key deliverables are completed on time. This is a high-impact, fully in-person, hands‑on role, based in our Roseland office. The right candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑expectation environment where priorities can shift and demands from attorneys are high. This role offers significant visibility and growth potential, with the opportunity to expand responsibilities and evolve into a more senior leadership position over time. Responsibilities Own monthly internal financial and key metrics reporting and detailed analysis. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of reporting outputs. Provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions. Lead budgeting and forecasting processes. Monitor actuals vs. budget and explain variances. Serve as the CFO’s point person for day‑to‑day finance execution and follow through. Coordinate with practice areas and internal departments to manage project timelines, track key deliverables, and ensure execution. Build and maintain financial models and internal reporting tools. Prepare materials for partner and management meetings. Support leadership decision‑making through analysis and reporting. Improve reporting structure, workflows, and efficiency. Maintain consistent, organized reporting formats. Partner with Accounting to align financial reporting with operational needs. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in accounting, FP&A, finance, or related role. Strong Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Experience with SurePoint or similar financial management systems preferred. Familiarity with document management systems such as NetDocuments (NetDocs) a plus. Highly organized and detail oriented. Able to manage multiple priorities and consistently meet deadlines. Ability to work effectively with high‑expectation attorneys and operate in a fast‑paced environment. Clear, practical communicator. Compensation & Benefits This position offers a salary range of $120,000 - $145,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications. This position is eligible for discretionary year‑end bonuses and a merit‑based increase.
