About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced, morning, breakfast cook to prepare and cook high-quality dishes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that every plate meets the restaurant's standards for taste, presentation, and timeliness. This position requires close collaboration with other kitchen staff to maintain a smooth workflow and uphold food safety and sanitation guidelines. Join our team at The Nautical Beachfront Resort!!
Minimum Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a line cook or in a similar kitchen role.
- Must have current AZ Food Handler Certificate.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Culinary school training.
- Experience with various cooking techniques and cuisines.
- Knowledge of inventory management and kitchen equipment maintenance.
- First aid and food handler certification.
