Registered Nurse – NICU

Schedule - Shift Length: 12-hour shifts - Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Requirements - License: WA RN or Compact RN required - Certifications: BCLS (BLS), NRP - Experience: 2 years Level III NICU experience - Patient Ratio Experience: 3:1 (days, nights, weekends) - Charge Experience: Preferred

Roles & Responsibilities - Provide specialized nursing care for neonates including those as young as 22 weeks gestation. - Monitor and manage neonatal ventilator settings and respiratory support. - Administer medications and treatments as per protocols including surfactant and steroids. - Conduct feeding procedures including gavage and oral feedings, ensuring tube management. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to provide comprehensive patient care. - Document care and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record system.

Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 12 hours - Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to Family Maternity Center/Postpartum (babies only) - Holiday Commitment: Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays if scheduled (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) - Scrub Color: Any color permitted except reddish orange. - Parking: Facility-paid.
