They are seeking a driven, relationship-focused Business Developer to grow their landscape installation and construction book of business across a defined territory in the Rocklin/Sacramento area. This is a newly created growth role — an opportunity to build something from the ground up with the full support of an established operations and leadership team behind you.The ideal candidate brings B2B sales experience in construction, project management, property management, or a related service industry and knows how to build lasting relationships with developers, general contractors, and property decision makers.Job Responsibilities:Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, referrals, and cold outreach focused on landscape installation and construction projectsBuild and maintain a healthy pipeline of installation opportunities outside the existing maintenance book of businessDevelop customized proposals and presentations that address client needs and highlight company valueNegotiate and close contracts in alignment with company pricing standards and profitability goalsBuild strong, long-term relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and key decision makersServe as primary point of contact during the sales cycle and ensure smooth transition to operations post-saleCollaborate with estimating, operations, and project management teams on accurate proposals and service deliveryReview large-scale opportunities ($1M+) with senior leadership; collaborate with Branch and Enhancement Manager on opportunities up to $1MStay current on local market conditions, competitor activity, and industry trendsRepresent the company at trade associations, networking events, and community engagementsMaintain accurate pipeline records and sales activity in Salesforce CRMWork with branch and senior leadership to set annual sales goals, budgets, and strategyRequirements:3–5 years of proven B2B outside sales success — construction, landscape installation, project management, property management, facility management, or related service industries requiredProject management or construction industry background strongly preferredStrong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills with a track record of closing commercial contractsProficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM and Microsoft Office SuiteSelf-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently in a field-based roleBachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, or related field preferred — equivalent work experience acceptedWhy choose Addison Group?Pay: We negotiate high salaries using the US Bureau of Labor StatisticsBenefits & Bonuses: You are eligible for medical, dental, vision insurance benefits, and 401kPermanent Employment: Many of Addison's job openings lead to potential permanent employmentConnections: You connect directly with hiring managersOptions: You are presented multiple employment options near your homeProfessional Development: You are provided hiring process advice, resume revision, and employment term negotiationAddison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
