Parts ManagerGoodfellow Corporation | Parts Manager Updated 09/11/2026Leads Parts, Inside Sales, and Warehouse operations that keep customers and their equipment running.Position Purpose:The Parts Manager leads Parts Counter, Inside Sales, and Warehouse operations. This position is responsible for department safety, customer support, parts sales, inventory performance, purchasing, order fulfillment, and employee development. The Parts Manager works closely with the General Manager, Inventory Control, Purchasing, Service, Equipment Sales, Manufacturing, Transportation, Finance, and other branches to keep customer equipment and Goodfellow operations moving.Responsibilities:Own SafetyLead the TeamManage Inventory and Warehouse PerformanceGrow Parts Sales and Customer SupportRun a Strong DepartmentMeasures of Success:Safety performance, training, and housekeeping; Parts revenue and gross margin; Customer response and order follow-through; Inventory accuracy, turns, and aged inventory; Team performance and developmentQualifications:Five or more years of progressive experience in parts, inventory, warehouse operations, product support, or a related industrial environment. At least two years of experience leading employees, setting expectations, and improving team performance. Working knowledge of inventory control, purchasing, order fulfillment, pricing, margin, and department-level financial performance. Experience using an ERP, dealer-management, or inventory system and standard Microsoft Office programs. Strong customer-service, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Ability to read parts diagrams, equipment manuals, or technical information and learn Goodfellow product lines. High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. Experience with aggregate, mining, construction, crushing, screening, conveying, or heavy equipment is highly valued.Supervisory Responsibilities:Directly supervises Inside Sales, Parts Counter, and Warehouse employees and is responsible for staffing, training, work assignments, performance management, and day-to-day accountability.Work Environment and Physical Requirements:This position works in office, parts-counter, warehouse, yard, and dock environments and may be exposed to moving equipment, noise, dust, and changing temperatures. The employee must be able to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, reach, and work around stored materials; and safely lift and move up to 50 pounds. Required personal protective equipment must be worn in designated areas.Travel and Schedule:This is a full-time position. Occasional extended hours, after-hours customer support, weekends, or local travel may be required based on customer and business needs.Work Authorization and Security Clearance:Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
