Job TasksRequesting MRO supplies, long-lead stockroom inventory, outside services and capital expenditures as requiredReview and place orders for raw material and stockroom inventory utilizing MRP and Min Exception reports for quantity and delivery requirementsExpedites orders and requests as neededEstimates values according to knowledge of market priceDetermines method of procurement, such as direct purchase or bidPrepares purchase orders or bid requestsMaintains procurement records, such as items or services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and inventoriesMay approve invoices for paymentMay expedite delivery of goods to usersPerform Purchasing and Inventory Control related functionsWork order kittingMaterial transactionsPhysical inventoryShipping and receiving as requiredMaintain the inventory integrity, organization and cleanliness of stockroomJob RequirementsMust have excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with various departments within the organizationMust be proficient in MS Excel and accounting software. MAS500 experience a plusFrequently lifts and/or moves up to 50lbsUses forklift to move materialsOverhead Gantry and loader experience preferredMust be capable of handling stock with careFrequently required to balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crouch and occasionally climbs ladder
