Physician Assistant | Cardiology - General/Other Location: Charlotte, NC Employer: Wellhart, LLC Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Start Date: 1/1/2027 About the Position We are seeking a skilled Cardiology Physician Assistant for a 90-day assignment with our client in North Carolina, starting Jan 1, 2027. This role involves providing comprehensive inpatient cardiology care, including diagnostic and non-invasive procedures, as well as various bedside and minor procedures, across a schedule of night and evening shifts. Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient cardiology care. Perform diagnostic and non-invasive procedures. Interpret EKGs. Supervise and interpret stress tests (exercise and pharmacologic). Support echocardiogram ordering and interpretation. Review Holter and event monitors. Perform suture removal and wound care for post-surgical cardiac patients. Place central lines. Place arterial lines. Remove femoral and radial sheaths after cardiac catheterization. Perform cardioversion. Additional Information Required Board Certifications: Cardiology EMR: Epic Setting: Inpatient Cardiology Schedule: Shifts include 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.
