IT Tech Support Southeast Delco School District, Harris School – Sharon Hill, Pennsylvania. This position is also posted on the district’s online job board. Job Description Provide support to district staff with hardware and software needs and issues. Reports to the Supervisor of Technology. Duties & Responsibilities Provide support in PC/Laptop installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair. Assist with Tier 1 basic support of wireless and wired networks. Provide assistance in classrooms to operate equipment and implement activities. Submit technology work orders and make service calls to manufacturers as needed. Maintain building printers by replacing ink cartridges. Provide assistance to district staff regarding Desktop/Laptop/Tablet issues. Conduct research of web sites and resources for classroom teachers. Troubleshoot basic phone system issues. Diagnose technical issues and perform all Tier 1 troubleshooting techniques before escalating to higher‑level IT support. Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology and the Technology Supervisor. Required Skills & Abilities Familiarity with Windows‑based operating systems. Knowledge of macOS/iOS systems. Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to operate a variety of office equipment. Education & Experience High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required. At least 2 years of IT experience required. Associate’s degree or higher in Information Technology desired. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, or other certifications desired. Pre‑employment Requirements Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check, FBI fingerprinting, Pennsylvania Child Abuse Clearance. Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Release (ACT 168). School Personnel Health Record and TB test. Physical Requirements Ability to reach above and below the waist. Ability to use fingers to pick, feel, and grasp objects. Ability to lift and/or carry supplies and/or papers weighing no more than 50 lbs. Ability to sit, walk, stand, or move throughout the work environment, often for extended periods. Visual acuity. Auditory acuity. Level of Compensation Salary: $23.05 to $23.55 per hour. After a 90‑day probationary period, eligible for a raise up to $23.55 per hour. Full‑time, 12‑month position.
