At Millie's, we aim to be your local escape, a place where great food, genuine hospitality, and a fun, welcoming atmosphere come together.We are looking for hard working, team oriented bartenders who bring great energy and positive vibes to every shift.What You'll DoWelcome customers, read and listen to people to determine beverage preferences, make recommendations, and take drink orders.Plan drink menus and inform customers about new beverages and specials.Select and mix ingredients, garnish glasses, and serve beverages to customers.Check identification to ensure customers are the legal age to purchase alcohol.Take inventory and order supplies to ensure the bar and tables are well-stocked.Adhere to all food safety and quality regulations.Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balance the cash register.Maintain a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.Develop new cocktail recipes.What We're Looking ForThree to five years of experience in a fast paced restaurant.High School Diploma.Additional education, training, certificates, or experience may be required.Meets state minimum age to serve alcohol.Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.Positive, engaging personality and professional appearance.Basic math and computer skills.Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.Strong task and time management abilities.Eye for detail and understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
