Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Salesperson role based in Houston, TX. The Salesperson will build and manage relationships with on‑and off‑premise accounts, present the portfolio of wines, and conduct regular sales visits to achieve and exceed sales targets. Daily responsibilities include educating customers on winery stories and product attributes, developing tailored sales strategies, and coordinating promotions and tastings to drive brand awareness. The role involves collaborating with logistics and management teams to ensure timely deliveries, up‑to‑date inventory information, and accurate order processing. The Salesperson will also participate in internal trainings and occasional winery visits to deepen product knowledge and strengthen the ability to deliver an authentic winery experience to customers. Qualifications Sales and account management skills, including prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals. Wine and beverage knowledge, such as understanding varietals, regions, terroir, and food pairings. Customer service and communication skills, including clear presentation abilities and active listening. Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple accounts, schedules, and sales activities. Basic business and analytical skills, including using sales data, pricing, and margin considerations to inform strategies. Comfort with using technology tools (CRM systems, spreadsheets, mobile apps) for tracking sales and reporting. Ability to work on‑site, travel locally within the Houston, TX area, and occasionally attend trainings or winery visits. Previous experience in wine, beverages, hospitality, or distribution sales is strongly preferred.
