Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Forklift Operator on the night shift, where you will play a crucial role in efficiently managing the receiving dock operations.

Responsibilities

• Use stand up reach trucks and cherry picker forklifts, specifically Crown and Yale brands, to move skids from staging areas to the warehouse for put away.
• Utilize RF scanning equipment to scan bar codes on wrapped skids and enter shipments into the warehouse management system.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience is required, with 2+ years preferred.
• Experience with stand-up reach forklifts, preferably the Crown brand.
• Proficiency in loading and unloading trucks using sit down and stand up forklifts.
• Familiarity with RF scanning equipment.
• Ability to accurately enter received shipments into the warehouse management system.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Prior experience in shipping and receiving functions is highly desirable.

Work Environment

The receiving area consists of approximately 23 bay doors where trucks are unloaded. This area is not climate-controlled, and employees will work both inside and outside of trucks. The night shift operates from 11 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of CHAMBERSBURG, PA.

The pay range for this position is $22.81 - $22.81/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully onsite position in CHAMBERSBURG,PA.
