Electro-Mechanical Technician (Travel)

The Mechatronics Technician is responsible for on‑site support, maintenance, refurbishment, and installation of electromechanical equipment at customer locations. They inspect existing equipment, provide status reports, recommend action plans, and refurbish or repair machinery as needed. Salary Range: $60k-$70k. Responsibilities Approach all tasks and situations with a Safety First mindset Participate in a broad array of electrical and mechanical tasks with minimal supervision Assist in the installation of new or refurbishment of existing system components Perform electrical and mechanical inspections and generate reports based on findings and manufacturer requirements Education & Experience Required: High school diploma with 1-2 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role Preferred: Associates degree in industrial technology or related field with 2-4 years experience in relevant electrical and/or mechanical role Experience maintaining material handling systems in a light industry or distribution center environment strongly preferred Requirements Strong electrical (3-Phase, 480V, DC and 24V controls) Strong mechanical aptitude General knowledge with electrics/mechanics in drive technology (motors/gears) Familiarity with control technology (PLC/controls/inverters) Knowledge of wiring diagrams and electrical measuring Comfort working with wide assortment of computer systems (Microsoft Office Suite, proprietary system monitoring programs, etc.) Ability to work in team environment as well as alone Scheduling & Travel Must be able to work all shifts including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays Travel up to 90% Physical Requirements Continuous walking, climbing, squatting, kneeling, and standing Working at heights of up to 80-100 feet wearing fall‑arrest gear and other PPE Lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs. unassisted Working in ambient, fresh (34°F), and frozen (-15°F) conditions Benefits Innovative Environment: Work with advanced automated material handling systems Continuous Growth: Opportunities for career development and advancement Competitive Benefits: Bonus opportunities, comprehensive health benefits, 401(k) match, dental, vision, accident, hospital indemnity, critical illness insurance, and more EEO Statement WITRON is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer, Race/Color/Religion/Sex/Disabled/Veteran/Gender Identity/Sexual Orientation. #J-18808-Ljbffr WITRON Group
