Financial Reporting Accountant

Our Houston, TX based client is seeking a SEC Financial Reporting Accountant to oversee all aspects of the company’s internal and external financial reporting. Our client is looking for a candidate with 2 plus years of SEC reporting or public accounting experience. Responsibilities: Assists in the preparation of SEC filings Participate in the monthly and quarterly accounting close process Assist in providing quarterly and annual schedules Review financial results, report variances, and provide related analysis Assist in researching accounting issues and drafting technical accounting memos. Maintain and analyze key performance metrics Support the financial reporting team with various ad hoc analyses. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required 3 plus years of SEC reporting and/or public accounting experience Public accounting experience is preferred CPA preferred Employment Type: Full Time Available to work in the Houston area. #J-18808-Ljbffr LHH Recruitment Solutions
