Part-time Wellness Receptionist

Reports to: Wellness Director

Compensation: $14-15 per hour

*Part-time Weekend Availability a MUST!

The candidate should be an energetic, highly personable, self-motivated, individual with a passion and willingness to go above and beyond to enhance the Member experience. The candidate should display a professional appearance, positive attitude, and exceptional selling skills. The Front Desk Receptionist, under the direction of the Fitness Director, will be responsible for assisting in the daily operations of the wellness facility including maintaining online schedule, booking appointments, keeping the wellness facility clean and presentable, and ensuring that the highest levels of guest satisfaction are attained. This position contributes to the overall success of the Wellness Center by embodying the mission, vision and values of the Club. The front desk receptionist will need to work 20 hours weekly.

Customer Service

• Create a warm and friendly atmosphere.
• Provide a premium level of customer service to the Membership.
• Proactively greet all Members and Guests on arrival and engage in genuine and positive interactions.
• Be a team-oriented individual willing to put the team & Member experience first & foremost.
• Be well-versed in club policies and have confidence in enforcing and informing Members of such policies.
• A willingness to assist in all areas of the operations, as required.
• Ensure Wellness area cleanliness and display standards are upheld.

Daily Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service and monitors daily usage of members and guests.
• Ensure all guest fees, service fees, and class fees are correctly charged.
• Keep online schedule system up to date with Trainers/Therapists availability and must confirm next day appointments.
• Maintain constant communication with massage therapists and personal trainers regarding members' and guests' needs/concerns.
• Must be available to work at weekend shifts.
• Responsible for daily closing procedures
• Maintains a safe and clean exercise environment within the Wellness Center, equipment cleaning will be required.
• Assist with childcare services if needed.
• Performs other duties as requested by Wellness Director.

Qualifications:

• Required to become CPR/AED/First Aid certified within 3 months of employment.
• 2 years' front desk reception or similar experience is preferred; must be able to speak clearly over the phone.
• Previous fitness and wellness experience is strongly preferred.

Required Education and/or Experience

• High school Diploma, GED, or college degree preferred.
• Preferred at least one (1) year of experience in the golf industry.
• Knowledge of Golf and past private club experience preferred.
• Candidates must possess basic computer skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal & written.

• Must be able to clearly understand and communicate with Members, guests, and co-workers in English to include verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work a flexible work week with open availability to include nights, weekends and occasionally Holidays.
• Must work well with others as a team and help co-workers when needed.
• Must always be courteous and tactful.
• Must possess honesty and integrity.
