Temporary Medical Records Coordinator, Day Shift, Cardiac Associates Rockville

Cardiac Associates - Rockville Adventist HealthCare's Cardiac Associates seeks to hire an experienced Medical Records Coordinator for Rockville MD who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Medical Records Coordinator you will: Provide customer service and support the daily function of the office which includes medical record completion, filing, storage, medical record analysis and assemble, vendor assistance for release of information, data collection for required reports, privacy and confidentiality of protected health information, safeguarding health information from unauthorized purposes, retrieval of discharged medical records, and maintaining compliance standards within the state, federal , and accreditation. Maintain database Follow all facility procedures in the accurate maintenance of employee records Maintain the confidentiality of all employee medical records and information Provide departments with appropriate documents and forms Other administrative and clerical duties as assigned Qualifications Include: High School Diploma or GED required Work experience in medical record setting preferred RHIT preferred, but not required Work Schedule: Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary for 6 months Hours per Week: 40 Hours Typical Daily Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:30am- 5:00pm Shift Type: Day Shift Pay Range: $19.21 - $24.90 If the salary range is not displayed or if the position is Per Diem (with a fixed rate), salary discussions will take place during the screening process.
