North Star Electric is Hiring Experienced Electricians for Carolina Projects!

North Star Electric is looking for skilled Electricians to manage apartment construction projects throughout the Carolinas.

Upcoming project locations include:

• Charlotte, NC
• Greenville, SC
• Fayetteville, NC
• Columbia, SC

You do not need to live in these cities to be considered. If you're willing to travel, we've got you covered. We provide:

• Company-paid lodging
• Daily per diem
• Company work truck for travel to and from the job site

What to expect:

• 40+ hours per week
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Most of our traveling electricians are home by Friday

• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget
• Review project specifications, drawings, and technical documents
• Lead project teams, including engineers, electricians, subcontractors, and vendors
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards
• Manage procurement of materials and equipment
• Identify and resolve project issues and risks proactively
• Conduct site visits and oversee on-site work as needed
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, schedules, and reports
• Residential experience a plus
• Multi family/apartment experience a plus

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Electrical or similar role
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, local codes, and industry standards
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• PMP certification (preferred but not required)
• 2-5 years as an electrical crew lead, field manager.
