(USA) Technician, Refrigeration/HVAC

Position Summary Supermarket Rack Refrigeration HVAC Technician at Walmart Supercenter #5879, 11145 Bryton Town Center Dr, Huntersville, NC 28078-7215. Support and oversee repair of facility refrigeration and HVAC equipment, using commercial HVAC techniques, hand and power tools, while ensuring compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations. Key Responsibilities Maintain and repair Walmart facility refrigeration and HVAC systems. Use the work order management system to process repair work orders and document activities. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls. Inspect, operate, and test equipment to diagnose issues. Complete required safety and equipment training. Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA regulations per Walmart safety policies. Lift up to 75 lbs, use ladders, and work at heights. Minimum Qualifications 2 years of commercial refrigeration HVAC maintenance experience. Large‑scale rack refrigeration experience. Type I, Type II, or Universal EPA certification for refrigerant handling. Valid state‑issued driver’s license with clean driving record and ability to pass an MVR. Minimum 18 years old with high school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Qualifications Completion of a 2‑year HVAC/R vocational or technical program.
