Licensed Insurance Sales Producer

Duties may include, but not limited to:

• Develop and cultivate in market relationships
• Cross-selling existing customers with other company products
• Generate new business, leads and referrals
• Understand company culture and philosophy
• Sense of urgency when accomplishing goals
• Ensure company services standards are met at all times
• Excellent internal and external customer orientation
• Foster business development and agency growth within the community
• Overcoming Objections & Sales Obstacles
• Excellent customer service & relationship building
• Selling Life Policies
• Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources.
• Develop insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales.

Job Requirements

• Life & Health and Property Casualty Agents License
• Excellent communication/interpersonal skills
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently
• Ability to multi-task
• Strong organizational skills
• Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable.
• Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude.
• Confident, self-starter who works well independently.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• Outstanding customer service and people skills
• License in the Property & Casualty Insurance Lines required and must have/be obtained prior to employment (Company will reimburse)
• License in the Life & Health Insurance Lines must be obtained within 180 days of employment (Company will reimburse)
• Organization, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills
• Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
• PC skills; experience with Windows-based computer applications a plus
• Ability/desire to work in small business environment
• Ability to learn American Family products, services, and computer systems
• Minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent
• Prior insurance experience is not required
• One year of prior customer service experience and sales experience are required
• Bilingual candidates are a plus but not required
