Logistics Coordinator II

Our organization is currently seeking a new team member to join our Materials department. The ideal candidate should possess a professional demeanor and provide clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations. Coordinates warehousing and transportation activities in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. Supports a variety of logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching. (if needed) Detail-oriented and multitasking skills Advanced knowledge and competency in Microsoft Word and Excel. Previous logistics or supply chain experience is a must Education and Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) Experience using ERP platforms such as (Syteline) or similar systems in a manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environment. Minimum 2-3 years of experience utilizing ERP systems to manage inventory transactions, production support, shipping, receiving, and warehouse activities within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate data and support efficient supply chain operations through ERP system utilization. Responsibilities Comparing shipment contents to records to ensure accuracy Keeping track of the status of outgoing shipments and inputting data into the company system Working with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure timely delivery Working with logistics technicians, customer service, and other teams Offering additional support for shipping and receiving departments as needed. Track availability and location of products and supplies. Ensure orders are fulfilled and assist with coordinating with multiple departments and personnel. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper storage, labeling, and inventory placement. Coordinate warehouse layout and storage strategies to optimize space utilization, material flow, and operational efficiency. Monitor inventory locations and ensure accurate stock organization to support timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. Implement and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Coordinate with warehouse personnel to organize incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring materials are stored and staged appropriately. Conduct regular inspections of warehouse areas to identify and correct organization, storage, or safety issues. Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency, accessibility, and inventory control.
