Our pediatric psychology team provides care to patients across 31+ integrated programs (and growing!).We are recruiting psychologists who are skilled in working with youth with medical complexity and within multidisciplinary teams across outpatient and inpatient settings. Experience conducting targeted outpatient consultations, brief evidence-based interventions, pre-surgical evaluations, inpatient consultation/liaison, multidisciplinary care conferences, and targeted evaluation is desired. It will also include protected academic time for service, research, and other scholarly activities. Faculty mentoring is provided to all new faculty members, with additional support available for those interested in clinical scholarship (e.g., program evaluation, quality improvement initiatives). This position carries an academic appointment at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine, with rank commensurate to qualifications and experience.Applicants must have:A PhD or PsyD in clinical psychology, pediatric psychology, clinical child psychology, or related fieldCompletion of an APA-accredited internship and/or post-doctoral fellowship with clinical child and adolescent psychology as a major area of studyEligibility for clinical psychology licensure in Missouri and KansasThe Division of Developmental and Behavioral Health at Children's Mercy is growing and expanding programs as part of the institution's Mental and Behavioral Health Strategic Plan.
