Book Keeper

Bookkeeper

We are looking for enthusiastic, flexible, organized, and self-motivated professionals with a strong ability to multi-task without losing sight of details. The Bookkeeper will be responsible for tracking and managing the company's financial data and administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain company financial records including purchases, sales, receipts and payments, including those in the form of foreign currencies.
  • Maintain current accounting software programs and electronic files and support new programs as needed
  • Assist in local and corporate internal and external audits
  • Reconcile bank statements and bookkeeping ledgers
  • Analysis of employee expenditures
  • Generating company financial reports
  • Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations
  • Maintaining company personnel files
  • Manage company payroll and coordinate employee benefits

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required, with a preference in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • Advanced user of QuickBooks, Microsoft Excel, and other applications related to finance and accounting.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce strongly preferred
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to effectively work across teams and levels
  • Ability to identify areas for efficiency improvements and create change where necessary
  • Ability to take direction virtually and face-to-face
  • Ability to work a hybrid (remote/in-office) work environment
