QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be US Citizen or Authorized to Work in the United States No Sponsorship Available Requirements for Maintenance Mechanic High School Diploma or GED required Technical school, trade certification, or apprenticeship completion is highly desirable Required Experience Minimum of 2–4 years of maintenance mechanic experience in a manufacturing environment; OR completion of a recognized Industrial Maintenance Apprenticeship or Skilled Trades Program Preferred Industry Experience Experience within one or more of the following industries is highly preferred: Food & Beverage Manufacturing Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Chemical Processing Industrial Manufacturing High-Speed Packaging Operations Technical Qualifications Candidates should possess working knowledge of: High-speed processing equipment Packaging machinery Mechanical drives Pumps Gearboxes Conveyors Bearings Hydraulic systems Pneumatic systems Mechanical power transmission Welding and fabrication Basic machining Hand and power tools Preventive Maintenance (PM) Predictive Maintenance (PdM) Root Cause Failure Analysis SAP Plant Maintenance (SAP-PM) Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) Safety & Regulatory Knowledge Working knowledge of: OSHA Safety Standards Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) Confined Space Entry Hot Work Permits NFPA Standards NEC Standards GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)

Food Safety Standards TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma methodologies Physical Requirements Lift up to 50 pounds Climb ladders and elevated work platforms Work in confined areas around production equipment Stand, bend, kneel, crawl, and reach throughout the shift Work in varying temperatures within a manufacturing environment
