Executive Director, Global Procurement - Commercial

Executive Director, Global Procurement – Commercial Procurement Provides strategic leadership and direction for Commercial Communications Procurement, covering Advertising, Media, Corporate Affairs/Public Relations, and Promotional Medical Communications. Works closely with Commercial Stakeholders to align procurement with revenue and product‑pipeline goals. Reports to the Vice President of Commercial Procurement and serves on the Global Procurement Extended Leadership Team. Key Responsibilities Lead the composition, development, and execution of category strategies in Commercial Communications. Translate category strategies into sourcing projects that deliver value to Regeneron and patients. Partner with Commercial Procurement Leadership to evolve strategies in line with business and pipeline changes. Implement and monitor category strategies to meet ESG objectives, including sustainability and supplier diversity. Collaborate with other Global Procurement areas to manage cross‑category suppliers. Anticipate stakeholder needs and plan strategies to optimize achievement of corporate goals. Execute a best‑in‑class partner‑management program and manage technology solutions to drive efficiency. Build and manage a global Commercial Communications Procurement team, fostering talent development and high performance. Drive process excellence and focus on stakeholder experience. Qualifications ~15 years of experience in procurement, marketing, sales, or related functions in a multinational environment. Senior leadership experience managing Associate Director‑level or higher professionals. Deep knowledge of media, content, production, and medical communications categories. Demonstrated ability to drive results, manage risk, program rollout, and forecast volume and savings. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Ability to operate in a fast‑paced, evolving biopharmaceutical setting. Proven track record in influencing senior executives and peer functions to implement strategic change. Salary range: $255,000.00 – $424,900.00 per annum.
