Role Responsibilities
- Design Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and craft personalized therapy approaches to help them achieve functional milestones
- Implement Therapeutic Strategies: Utilize proven techniques to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living functions
- Collaborate with a Multifaceted Care Team: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nurses to deliver holistic patient care
- Educate Patients and Families: Provide training on therapeutic methods to promote continued progress beyond the clinical environment
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Plans: Track patient developments meticulously, making necessary adjustments to keep treatment on track
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Continuing education or specialized certifications are encouraged and supported
- Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
- NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory
- A genuine passion for supporting others and helping them reach their highest potential for independence
