Medical Lab Technician
MLee Healthcare has been engaged by a critical access hospital in a scenic and beautiful city in Northern Maine that is seeking a dedicated Medical Lab Technician to join their team. Location benefits include ample outdoor activities, such as skiing/snowboarding, snowmobiling, boating, fishing, hiking, and much more. Qualifications, Licenses, and Certifications for a Medical Lab Technician:
- Associate degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) preferred.
- ASCP Certification preferred.
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory setting preferred but not required.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays if necessary.
Responsibilities for a Medical Lab Technician:
- Perform quality control checks and ensure accuracy and precision of test results.
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist or laboratory manager.
- Prepare specimens for analysis, including blood samples, urine, and other bodily fluids.
Job Benefits for a Medical Lab Technician:
- Up to $5,000 Sign-On Bonus
- Night Shift Differential: $3.50
- Relocation Support (negotiable)
