The successful candidate will teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses, utilizing innovative pedagogical methods to engage students and prepare them for professional careers.***Please Note: The salary is determined in accordance with the University’s compensation structure and will be commensurate with the candidates’ education and experience, within the assigned salary range for this position.*****Responsibilities:*** Engage in continuous professional development.* Develop and deliver undergraduate and potentially graduate-level courses in a range of mechanical engineering topics, such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, dynamics and solid mechanics.* Prepare course materials, including syllabi, lectures, homework assignments, and handouts.* Plan and conduct laboratory sessions and supervise student projects, including capstone projects.* Utilize and promote various teaching methods and technologies, including e-learning platforms and computational software.* Administer and grade exams, assignments, and other student work to assess progress and ensure alignment with accreditation standards (e.g., ABET).* Hold regular office hours to provide academic support, advice, and career guidance to students.* Mentor students who are completing projects or require assistance with course content.* Performs other duties as assigned.**Required Education and Experience:*** Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.* 5 years of industrial experience.**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:*** Ability to teach effectively at the college level* Good communication skills, both written and oral* Practical knowledge of engineering science and technology applications, including relevant software and lab equipment.**Preferred qualifications:*** Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field.* Prior teaching experience at the university level.**Job Posting Close Date:*** Position Open Until Filled**Required Attachments:**Please attach all required documents listed belowin the attachment box labeled as either “Resume/CV or Resume/Cover Letter” on the application.
