Fork Lift operator

Ocean Spray is hiring Forklift Operators at the Middleboro facility in a 600,000 square foot processing plant that produces up to 80 million pounds per year of Sweetened Dried Cranberries (Craisins). The role is a 12‑hour rotating shift from 6 pm to 6 am with rotating weekends off and a starting pay rate of $24.87 plus shift differential. The position requires indoor, year‑round work and includes three 30‑minute breaks per shift. Position Overview The primary responsibilities are to proficiently operate forklifts for handling raw materials and finished goods, including sanitation of food storage containers and general housekeeping as needed. Responsibilities Handle materials, raw, packaging and finished goods either by hand or with material handling equipment. May perform quality and sensory tests involved in production of products. Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records as required. Load and/or unload trucks of materials, concentrates, etc., and perform other related duties as necessary. Clean areas, encompassing general cleaning and sanitation events for production equipment. Use operational and working knowledge of all equipment required to perform sanitation functions. Know all sanitation chemicals and their application. Track or record quality/production events in the appropriate system (e.g., Redzone). Requirements Forklift certified. Prior forklift operation experience required. Ability to transfer on/off forklift between multiple manufacturing Execution Systems during shift.
