This role involves providing acute care therapy services, with responsibilities including patient assessment, discharge planning, evaluation, and patient education. Candidates are required to bring their valid state license on the first day. The position is suitable for licensed physical therapists with a minimum of one year of experience and a strong background in acute care settings. Job Details: Specialty Name: Physical Therapist Inpatient Shift Hours: 8 hours per day Minimum Hours Per Week: 40 hours Start Date: 07/20/2026 Required Qualifications: Valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission), at least 1 year of experience, Certifications: BLS, experience with acute care, outpatient clinics, rehabilitation hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and related specialties. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred), experience floating between sister facilities may be required, and familiarity with supporting various patient diagnoses such as neurological and orthopedic conditions. Additional Information: Travelers may be expected to float between nearby sister facilities; refusal to float may impact employment. Candidates must be able to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day). Schedule: Standard days, 8 hours shift, minimum 40 hours per week. Submittal Requirements: Candidate responses to prior Providence facility employment history are required. Two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years must be provided prior to start.
