Join us and be part of something bigger.Main Purpose of the Role and Responsibilities in the BusinessAs a Workday HCM Data Consultant in Kainos, you'll be a key part of the team, to implement and configure enterprise-scale Workday solutions for our global customer base, specializing in gathering and transforming the customer's organizational and employee data prior to loading into the Workday tenants. You will build relationships with our customers to understand their data needs, leading the delivery of solutions around their data that are aligned to their needs, fit for purpose and commercially viable. You'll work closely with other functional team leads and stakeholders to keep implementation flowing, and you'll lead the data workstream on these implementations. You'll also have the support and guidance of an Engagement Manager and Managing Consultant. As a knowledgeable expert in data consulting, you'll also fill a leading role in aiding education and growth in the area of Workday Data Consulting within the Kainos Workday practice.Minimum (Essential) RequirementsStrong knowledge and experience in data analysis, manipulation, reporting and formattingExcellent knowledge of ExcelExceptional attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to spot errors and inconsistencies in large data setsExcellent customer focus, able to assess customer needs, build relationships and manage customer expectations. You will know when to push back, when to escalate, and when to go above and beyond to satisfy a customerStrong communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with impact, credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation. Sound ability to formally present to senior Client audiencesBroad business and technology understanding and a good awareness of industry trendsAbility to work to tight deadlines and make sensible decisions under pressure taking a balanced view of Customer demands and Kainos commercialsAbility to widen and maintain a network of external contactsStrong consulting skills e.g. presenting, leading workshops, demonstrating and explaining complex functionality or solutions to customersAble to become an acknowledged subject matter expert e.g. Workday Product LeadWilling and able to support the sales process including the production of estimates for the delivery of work packagesAble to implement improvements in tools and/or processes to help the practiceCommercial understanding of utilization within a services organization and the importance of these targetsAble to rotate through various Workday delivery services, specifically Consulting and Application Management ServicesAble, if required, to travel to customer sites in the same region (minimal out of region travel may also be required)DesirableWorkday HCM or Financials CertifiedSome understanding and appreciation for different data formatting characteristics across jurisdictions and countries, to suit our global customer baseEmbracing Our DifferencesAt Kainos, we believe in the power of diversity, equity and inclusion.
