Job Description:

The Registered Nurse - ICU will provide care to complex ICU patients in a mixed unit that includes medical, surgical, cardiac, neuro, and trauma cases. The nurse will work as part of a dedicated ICU team divided into pods with responsibilities including ventilation management and administration of IV medications.

Responsibilities:

• Care for ICU patients with various diagnoses, including ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, and trauma.
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, and maintain hemodynamic lines.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNA, phlebotomy, RT, and Intensivists.
• Participate in hospital and department orientation and iLearns.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience (excluding travel experience preferred).
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC.
• Experience with Epic charting system and comfort with 48-hour contracts.
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensed by the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
