About the opportunity

We own and operate restaurants of an established national restaurant franchise. We are hiring an experienced, entrepreneurial Director of Franchise Operations to own sales, profitability and people across a minimum of three restaurants in the Nashville area, with scope to grow to six. You lead from the floor: you are based in one of your restaurants and run the group from there, with a store manager in each of the others.

This is not a store-level GM job. You will run your restaurants as one portfolio — resident in one, accountable for all — and you will report directly to the owners. Weekly reporting on sales, labor and results is already in place; you bring the leadership and the results.

What you will own

Sales growth — the primary focus: guest throughput, average check, digital and delivery channels, alcohol, catering, and local initiatives that move the top line.

The P&L: weekly and period results for every restaurant; action on labor, food cost, waste and controllables; bonus is paid on area EBITDA, so you are paid on what you deliver.

People: recruit, train and develop store managers, kitchen leads and shift leaders; build the bench for the next locations.

Standards: brand standards, food safety, recipe adherence and guest experience, uniform across every location.

Local store marketing: community presence and partnerships that build share in each trade area.

Supply and inventory: cross-location inventory control, vendor relationships and prep efficiency.

What you bring

• 10+ years of progressive restaurant management, with proven multi-unit oversight — or senior GM experience running a $10M+ portfolio of restaurant units.

• Experience leading multi-location teams (100+ direct and indirect reports).

• Strong financial acumen: multi-unit P&L management, labor forecasting and prime cost control.

• The ability to coach store-level managers and hold them accountable.

• A multi-unit leader who is still an operator at heart — in the restaurants, with the teams, every week.

• ServSafe Manager certification.

• Multi-unit or senior GM background from high-volume casual, fast-casual or franchise concepts strongly preferred.
