Overview Site Assessment Project Manager - $141,000 to $150,000. Los Angeles, CA This range is provided by PMCS Group, Inc.. Responsibilities Coordinate and review contractor work for Phase I Environmental Site Assessments Coordinate Soils Disposition Evaluation (Specification 01 4524) Coordinate Soils Evaluations (SCAQMD Rule 1466) Coordinate Health/Safety Risk Assessments Coordinate Preliminary Environmental Assessments Coordinate Remedial Investigations and Feasibility Studies Coordinate Public Participation Plans Coordinate PCB (polychlorinated biphenyl) survey and mitigation Assist in contract development and oversight of remediation contractors Manage budgets and schedules related to environmental investigations and remediation Provide technical advice to OEHS Management regarding contractor performance and cost control Coordinate environmental review with Facilities Services Division for project schedules and budgets, school design and construction planning, emergency response, and demolition planning Qualifications Required: 7 years of full-time experience in environmental investigations and remediation, preferably under DTSC or similar agency oversight Required: Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Engineering, or a related field Preferred: California Professional Registration (Certified Hydrogeologist, Professional Engineer, or Professional Geologist) Strong understanding of local and federal environmental regulations and investigation protocols The Company At PMCS Group, Inc., we’ve built our reputation on over 70 years of combined industry experience and a team of 130+ professionals with deep expertise in construction, engineering, architecture, and inspection.
