Desired Qualifications:
- Active NM state license (NMRLD) required by contract start; NMPED can be in pending status
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
- Ability to work independently and as part of an educational team
- Compassionate, communicative, and student-centered approach
- Eagerness to adapt and collaborate with fellow professionals
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy evaluations and services to students as outlined in IEPs
- Develop individualized treatment plans and document student progress
- Work closely with teachers, families, and other therapists to support student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with interdisciplinary planning
- Adapt treatment modalities to suit a diverse student population
