Maintenance Technician

About us The Arc of Lagrange County is a local, non‑profit agency providing services to individuals with intellectual and development disabilities in a workshop, classroom, home and community settings. Responsibilities Assist with monitoring or performing all maintenance on buildings and grounds. This can include snow removal from walks and doors in the winter and landscape upkeep in the summer months. Assist where needed with all maintenance issues on the building and grounds as assigned. Assist with ensuring a safe work environment for all staff and consumers enrolled in the programs. Assist with preventative maintenance checklist for main building, respite and group home as assigned. May be required to drive a transportation route in the absence of a route driver. Vehicle maintenance. The Maintenance Technician will abide by the intent as well as the letter of the Mission Statement, Quality Statement, Code of Ethics and Standards of Conduct Statement in the course of their duties. The Maintenance Technician shall engage in or see to the completion of any tasks required to maintain the ISO Certification and will be responsible for the timely correction of any deficiencies.
