The Debt Defenders at Ciment Law Firm, PLLC, are looking for a Legal Receptionist. This role is much more than the person who answers the phone—they are often the first impression of our firm. This position creates a welcoming, professional, and compassionate experience for every client, prospective client, court representative, vendor, and guest while ensuring the office operates efficiently.

The Receptionist serves as a central communication hub, coordinating information between departments, managing incoming calls and visitors, and providing administrative support that keeps daily operations running smoothly. Success in this role requires exceptional customer service, emotional intelligence, professionalism, organization, and the ability to remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced legal environment.

$15 - $18 hourly

• Take incoming phone calls and respond to emails and ensure the appropriate people receive all relevant information
• Follow the correct sign-in procedures for visitors to keep our building secure
• Welcome fellow employees, clients, and visitors when they enter the building and give them any pertinent information or directions
• Assist with other administrative tasks, such as data entry, copying, filing etc.
• Manage incoming and outgoing mail and handle deliveries

• Well-versed in taking telephone calls and handling stressful situations
• High school diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent
• 1 year of experience as a receptionist, administrative assistant, guest service specialist, or similar position preferred
• Possesses strong customer service skills, interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and time management skills
• Exhibits working knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
