Part-Time Pawnbroker/ Retail Sales Associate

$15.00 to $17.00 per hour + commission AND potential bonus!

There is no cap to how much commission you can earn!

Position Summary:

We are seeking part-time experienced pawnbroker/ retail sales associates . The Pawnbroker / Retail Sales position delivers a high level of customer service on the loan and retail sides of the business. A Pawnbroker/Retail Sales team member greets, engages, and interacts with customers in a positive and professional manner to process sales, loans, and other transactions. The associates will work with a wide variety of jewelry and general merchandise, including tools, electronics, firearms, and much more.

The Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales position offers an hourly wage plus commission on everything they sell.

Responsibilities of a Part-Time Pawnbroker / Retail Sales Associate are:

Greets and interacts with customers and provides excellent customer service.

Performs open/close procedures.

Keeps the sales floor clean and merchandises item for sale.

Performs sales and loan transactions.

Handles cash and makes change.

Answers incoming calls and finds solutions to customer inquiries

Partners with all employees to create a positive customer experience.

Successfully completes the assigned training.

Other related duties

Minimum Requirements & Qualifications

Ability to type proficiently/ data entry

Must be willing and able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Must be willing and able to perform duties and tasks for extended periods of time (in accordance with federal, state, local law), some of which include, but are not limited to, standing, stooping, walking, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.

Ability to safely work with firearms.

Employees may be asked to assist a customer on the exterior of the building (within our parking lots and/or property boundaries).

Minimum Age: 18 years old

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

Ability to perform basic math calculations proficiently.

Cash handling experience is preferred.

Computer literate and able to operate Point-Of-Sale (POS) systems and common office machines.

Must be able to pass drug and background check

Bilingual is a plus!
