What You'll Do: Your responsibilities as a Full-time Therapist would include: Complete assessments, screening, and other documentation during the evaluation phase of treatment for each client. Develop individualized treatment plans, prepare treatment plan reviews, and discharge summaries with treatment team. Consult with other service providers as needed. Provide therapy to meet client needs. Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure client’s needs are met appropriately. Maintain positive working relationship with community resources and referral agencies. Complete required reports and other documentation. Assist in the development and facilitation of caregiver training as needed. Actively participate in required trainings. Maintain licensure requirements. Assist in the development and facilitation of an annual training curriculum for caregivers. Assist with development of program forms, as necessary. Provide public education presentations, as necessary. Develop and maintain relationships with community agencies, schools, and universities as applicable. Compile monthly, quarterly and annual statistics and other data as requested. Provide on-call support, as necessary. What We’ll Love About You: Treatment plans are completed as required. Records are managed appropriately. Documentation is completed in a timely manner and is satisfactory based on supervisory review. Statistical reporting is done consistently. Required annual training is complete. Feedback regarding professional relationships and CHS values is positive. Agency and state standards are consistently upheld. Client feedback is consistently satisfactory. Confidentiality is consistently maintained. Interaction with clients is engaging and meaningful based on supervisory observation. Requirements Education: Bachelor’s degree in human services discipline required. Must have obtained a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Licensure: Current South Dakota license as a CSW, LPC, or LMFT licensure required. Must be, or have the ability to be, certified as Adoption Competent. QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional) certification or ability to obtain is required. South Dakota advanced licensure including CSW-PIP, LPC-MH, or LMFT preferred. Experience: Two years’ experience in children and/or family programs preferred. Physical Demands and Work Environment: Normal office environment with minimal exposure to dust, noise, etc. Extended PC viewing and keyboarding required. Extended periods of sedentary work required. Client home visits may be required. Must successfully complete all required background and pre-employment checks EEO/AA.
