We are seeking a dynamic, clinically focused, Board Certified/Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist to become part of our Pediatric Cardiology team. The ideal candidate should possess a keen interest in general cardiology, particularly in fetal cardiology.

With a network that includes 6 hospitals, 3 long-term care facilities, a Home Care and Hospice agency, and a program for individuals with developmental disabilities, we employ over 17,000 staff members and operate with a budget nearing $3.5 billion. We cater to more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties, supported by a network of over 3,300 physicians.

Compensation: Starting at $270K+

Key Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a strong interest in general cardiology, including fetal cardiology.

• Provide both outpatient and inpatient care across various hospitals within our health system.

• Collaborate with fellow pediatric cardiologists in our organization.

Mentorship & Support:

• Receive direct mentorship from the Chairman of Pediatric Cardiology.

• Benefit from structured guidance from senior Pediatric Cardiologists in the department.

• Engage in ongoing feedback, skills enhancement, and career development planning.

Leadership Framework:

• Report directly to the Chairman of Pediatric Cardiology.

• Be part of a collaborative, team-oriented department.

Qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical institution.

• Training: Board-Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Cardiology.

• Licensure: Valid New York State medical license and DEA (or eligibility).

• Experience: Fellowship training with proven clinical proficiency.
