Leasing Agent - Capitol Hill

Location: Seattle, WA - Capitol Hill Area Pay: DOE Schedule: Full-Time WHO THEY ARE Our client is a well-established affordable housing organization serving communities throughout the Seattle area. They manage a diverse portfolio of apartment communities and are committed to providing quality, affordable housing while creating welcoming and inclusive environments for residents. They are looking for a personable and organized Leasing Agent who can guide prospective residents through the leasing process while providing excellent customer service and maintaining accurate documentation. WHAT YOU'LL DO Respond to leasing inquiries from prospective residents Provide information regarding available apartments, rental qualifications, and eligibility requirements Schedule and conduct apartment tours Guide applicants through the rental application and leasing process Collect and review required application documentation Assist with verifying applicant information and eligibility Maintain accurate leasing files, records, and applicant information Follow up with applicants regarding outstanding documentation or next steps Coordinate approved move-ins and lease signings Communicate professionally with applicants, residents, Property Managers, and internal teams Help ensure leasing activities follow Fair Housing requirements and applicable housing guidelines WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU Full-time opportunity with an established housing organization Work in Seattle's Capitol Hill area Opportunity to support affordable housing within the local community Collaborative property management environment Opportunity to build experience in affordable housing and residential property management WHAT YOU NEED TO HAVE Previous leasing, property management, housing, or related customer service experience Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable communicating with prospective residents by phone, email, and in person Strong attention to detail when handling applications and documentation Ability to stay organized while managing multiple applicants and priorities Comfortable learning and following housing eligibility and compliance requirements Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management systems Professional, dependable, and comfortable working with people from a variety of backgrounds PREFERRED Previous apartment leasing or property management experience Affordable housing experience Experience with income-restricted, HUD, Section 8, or other regulated housing programs Experience reviewing leasing applications and eligibility documentation THE MUSTS Strong communication and customer service skills Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to handle sensitive applicant information professionally Ability to work independently while collaborating with the property management team Commitment to providing a positive experience for prospective and current residents #J-18808-Ljbffr Opti Staffing Group
