Lab & Shop Safety Specialist: Audits, Training & Compliance

University Of Houston

The University of Houston is seeking a Safety Auditor to conduct safety audits of laboratories and trade shops. This role includes maintaining regulatory compliance records and implementing safety training programs for faculty, staff, and students. The successful candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a closely related field, along with at least one year of job-related experience. Responsibilities include evaluation of safety controls, documentation of findings, and providing assistance in hazardous waste management.
