About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Pyramid Consulting, Inc. to find a qualified OR RN in Moab, Utah, 84532!

• Provide nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
• Perform Pre-Op, PACU, and Operating Room circulating responsibilities.
• Assist with a variety of surgical cases, including General, Orthopedic, and OB/C-section procedures.
• Maintain strict aseptic and sterile techniques throughout surgical procedures.
• Prepare patients, equipment, instruments, and supplies for surgery.
• Monitor patients and ensure patient safety throughout the perioperative process.
• Respond effectively to trauma cases in the Emergency Room when required.
• Provide emergency surgical care during after-hours call as the only OR nurse in-house, when necessary.
• Work independently and respond quickly in a rural hospital environment.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow hospital policies and patient-safety standards.

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered RN license in Utah or a compact state.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Current ACLS certification required or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire.
• Must be available for approximately 7–9 days of call per month.
• 20-minute response time to the hospital is required when on call.
• Strong knowledge of aseptic and sterile techniques.
