Assembler – 1st Shift

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay Rate: $20/hr

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Assembler to join our manufacturing team. The Assembler will build components and subassemblies by following blueprints, schematics, technical instructions, and assembly procedures.

The ideal candidate is comfortable using hand and power tools, can follow detailed instructions, and takes pride in producing quality products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble components, parts, and subassemblies according to specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, assembly instructions, and technical terminology

• Position and align components manually or with hoists as needed

• Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery to assemble products

• Inspect parts and materials for quality before and during assembly

• Test finished products for defects and proper functionality

• Maintain an accurate inventory of parts, materials, and tools

• Maintain and properly care for tools and equipment

• Follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and supervisor directives

• Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe

• Perform other duties within your skill set as assigned

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous assembly, manufacturing, electrical, mechanical, or related experience preferred

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical instructions

• Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Basic knowledge of electrical/electronic systems preferred

• Excellent time management and organizational skills

• Ability to follow instructions and company procedures

• Good communication skills

• Ability to work independently or with minimal supervision

• Ability to read, write, and understand English

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods

• Ability to bend, crouch, crawl, and work in awkward spaces

• Ability to climb ladders as needed

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Ability to perform physical tasks throughout the workday
