Dental Assistant, CF - Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD)

Dental Assistant – Richard J. Donovan State Prison (RJD) This position is a limited term role that may be extended or become permanent. Effective July 1, 2025, salary adjustments apply under the 2025 Personal Leave Program  (PLP 2025) . Under the supervision of the Supervising Dentist, CF, and/or Supervising Dental Assistant, CF, and the clinical direction of the Dentist, CF, the Dental Assistant performs supportive dental procedures under the guidelines and regulations set forth by the Dental Board of California Dental Practice Act and the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) Dental Program. The Dental Assistant assists in the related work of a dental office, maintains order, supervises the conduct of the incarcerated, directs their duties, and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property. Individuals who are eligible for a Training and Development assignment may also be considered for this position.
